A hacked account, a stolen laptop, a backup that doesn't work: for a small business, that can cost weeks. I find what's fragile and secure it, with plain explanations.

What's not working
In a small team, nobody has time for it. That's normal, and that's exactly the risk.
If one service leaks, all your accounts are exposed: email, banking, business software.
They might exist. But on the day you need them, will they actually restore?
A former employee, a contractor, the Wi-Fi shared with customers: who still has access to what?
You handle customer data without knowing exactly what the law expects from you.
What I do
No jargon, no oversized solutions. Concrete measures, prioritised by the real risk to your business.
I review your accounts, devices, network, website and backups. You get a clear report with priorities.
A team password manager and two-factor authentication on sensitive accounts.
A 3-2-1 strategy sized for you, automated, and above all tested with a real restore.
Updates, disk encryption, separate guest Wi-Fi, secure remote access.
HTTPS, security headers, updates, monitoring, hardened hosting.
Record of processing, retention periods, notices on your website: the essentials, without needless paperwork.
Demo
Demo: a questionnaire that produces a score and prioritised recommendations. It scans nothing: you answer. Ideal to know where to start.

Process
We tackle what exposes you most first. The rest follows at your pace.
Together we list your accounts, devices, software and important data.
I analyse, then hand you a readable report with actions ranked by priority.
I put the most important measures in place: passwords, two-factor authentication, backups.
A short session with you and your team to build good habits, then regular check-ins if you'd like.
Indicative timeline2 to 4 weeks for the essentials

FAQ
Most attacks don't target anyone in particular: they automatically look for open doors. Small businesses are often hit precisely because they're less protected.
I only access what's necessary, with your consent, and I can sign a confidentiality agreement. Any access I'm given is removed at the end of the engagement.
The goal is the opposite. A password manager saves time, two-factor authentication takes seconds. I choose measures you'll actually use.
No, and be wary of anyone who promises that. I greatly reduce the risk and make sure you can recover quickly if an incident happens.
You keep the report, whatever you decide. You can make the fixes yourself, hand them to me, or a mix of both.
